Alpaca Madness Mittens

Drop Stitch Scarf

Simple drop stitch scarf done with Island Sweet Fibre Art’s GORGEOUS Newfoundland handspun, hand dyed yarn!  The drop stitch pattern really shows off the amazing colours and textures of this yarn well.  But would also work beautifully with any thick & thin yarn, especially in a variegated colourway.

One 4oz skein gave me a 6’ long and 5” wide scarf, and would definitely block much larger, if desired.  If you’re using less than a 4oz skein and still want a long scarf, you may want to consider casting on a few less stitches.
